What personal data we collect and why
Contact form — Our contact form collects your name, email address, organisation and message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and manage our professional relationship. Submissions are stored securely in the website’s database.
Booking a discovery session — Sessions are scheduled through Calendly, embedded on our booking page. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email address and selected time slot and processes them in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Google Analytics is governed by our consent banner using Google Consent Mode v2: until you accept statistics cookies, analytics storage is set to “denied”, no analytics cookies are placed on your device and no identifiers are collected. Once you consent, Google Analytics sets cookies and may process data on servers outside the UK/EEA. We use this information in aggregate form only, to improve the site. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.
Cookies
The site uses essential technical cookies required for it to function, and — only after you have given consent — Google Analytics cookies for audience measurement. We do not use advertising cookies: advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad user data are permanently set to “denied”. Third-party content such as the Calendly scheduler, YouTube videos and Google Fonts is blocked until you consent, and is shown as a placeholder you can click to load. We also keep a record of the consent choices made on this site — the choice, its date and the version of the banner shown — as evidence of compliance; these records contain no name or email address.
Marketing communications
We do not currently send newsletters or marketing emails. If we introduce them in the future, they will be strictly opt-in and this policy will be updated beforehand.
Sharing of personal data
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Your data is handled only by the technical providers necessary to run this site: Namecheap (EasyWP), which hosts the website and its database; Google (analytics); and Calendly (scheduling). We may disclose personal data where required by law.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages include embedded content from third parties (e.g. YouTube videos, the Calendly scheduler). Embedded content behaves as if you had visited the third-party website directly: these services may collect data about you, set their own cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content.
How long we retain your data
Contact messages and related metadata are retained only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and manage our professional relationship. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise these rights, email contact@econosysmographe.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO, ico.org.uk).
