FAQ
Econosysmographe™ is a quantitative risk intelligence platform that uses Riemannian geometry to detect systemic market stress before it appears in price volatility. Unlike traditional risk models (VaR, Sharpe ratio), it treats markets as curved geometric spaces and measures structural fatigue through the Topological Survival Score (TSS), Ricci curvature, and the Two-Price geodesic model.
The Universe Risk Framework is a mathematical framework developed by Evangelos Papadopoulos that models financial markets as geometric objects on a Riemannian manifold. It detects structural market ruptures months before they manifest in observable price volatility, using the Papadopoulos Distance — a geodesic metric on the SPD(n) manifold of symmetric positive definite matrices.
The TSS is a single systemic health indicator ranging from 0% to 100%. A TSS below 15% signals a Singularity Alert — extreme systemic stress where the market manifold is near collapse. A TSS above 80% signals an Isotropic regime — a healthy, diversified market. Asset managers use the TSS as an early warning system for regime shifts, typically months before volatility spikes.
The Two-Price Model computes a geodesic equilibrium price (G) for each asset alongside its observable spot price (S). The log-divergence σ = log(S/G) classifies each asset into three regimes: Compression (σ < 0, spot below geodesic — undervalued, BUY signal), Suture (σ ≈ 0, at equilibrium — HOLD), and Rupture (σ > 0, spot above geodesic — overextended, EXIT or PUT signal). These signals are derived purely from geometry, not historical correlations.
The platform is designed for asset managers (AUM $20M and above), quantitative researchers, hedge funds running systematic strategies, and family offices with complex multi-asset portfolios. It provides institutional-grade geometric risk monitoring with a guided onboarding programme.
Econosysmographe™ is currently in a selective pilot programme offering 3-month guided access to a limited number of institutional partners. Each participant receives 1 hour per week of personal guidance. To apply, contact us at contact@econosysmographe.eu or visit econosysmographe.com.
Econosysmographe™ is grounded in four research papers published by Evangelos Papadopoulos on SSRN. Paper I introduces the Universe Risk Framework and the Papadopoulos Distance. Paper II — Beyond Portfolio Death: Geometric Rupture Detection and the Cone de Evangelos — demonstrates 18-month early warning signals for the 2008 financial collapse. Paper III introduces the Two-Price Theory of Markets with 86–99% directional accuracy over 8 years of empirical data. Paper IV — The Minsky Singularity — identifies the structural transition of January 2026 using live URF diagnostics. All papers are available on SSRN.
The platform provides: a live TSS dashboard tracking systemic health across a 100-dimensional asset space; Ricci Tomography — a curvature heatmap identifying which principal components are under geometric stress; a Contagion Network Map showing how systemic stress propagates across asset classes in real time; Two-Price Alpha Signals classifying each asset as Compression, Suture, or Rupture; geodesic price projections for Gold and Oil; a What-If Scenario Builder for geometric stress testing; and an Alpha Signals panel combining geometric and sentiment signals into ranked, actionable investment ideas.
